Talmage just finished his first season of basketball and his team was the Hot Fire Cheetahs. He had a great time and he really enjoyed doing something just for him; he has been patient with his parents to get him signed up for sports.
We had a great time watching the games! We laughed a lot at all the kids trying to figure the sport out. My favorite was when the players would dribble for a little bit and then give up and run and hold the ball to where they really wanted to be before they made a basket. Talmage has learned to dribble really well and we are still working on the arc of the ball to make a basket. Talmage was also really good, actually too good at listening to what his coaches wanted him to do at times when he would go to his spot around the key instead of following who he was defending.
Talmage had some great games when he scored 2 and 3 points! The first time his basket actually made it in he looked so shocked it was really cute. We were very happy with the season and the progress that Talmage made. Go T!
