Talmage's Baptism

Talmage has been looking forward and preparing for his baptismal day for along time.  November 3, 2012 was the day and it was really special.  As our whole family was sitting on the front row in the primary room I felt as if I was experiencing a little slice of Heaven; the spirit was strong.  My Mommy heart was really full that day.
We were excited that Grammy and Papa were able to come from Utah for the occasion.  They helped us a lot with getting ready and added greatly to the program.  Talmage was baptized and confirmed by Gordon/Daddy and then he asked Grammy to give a talk on baptism and me to give a talk on the Holy Ghost.  Papa and Brother Wise were the witnesses for the baptism.  We were very grateful for the members of our ward who were able to attend and make the day more special.

Talmage is a great spiritual example in our home.  He helps us keep on top of our family scripture study and says beautiful prayers.  He loves to read his Scripture Readers and it shows; they are well loved.  He is looking forward to getting his own set of "REAL" scriptures.  We love Talmage so much and proud of the young man he is becoming.

Talmage had all his favorite things: hummus with carrot and pita chips, fruit salad, and homemade brownies with frosting.  Oh, and we had lemonade to drink.
