Scouts

Talmage was excited to turn eight so that he could start Cub Scouts.  The first den meeting he was really excited and came home wanting all his gear.  He reminded Gordon daily to stop by the scout shop and get his uniform before the next meeting.  Thankfully, Daddy delivered and Talmage was so proud to wear all of his uniform his second week of den meeting; he looked really handsome.

Talmage is in the Wolf pack currently and they keep those boys busy.  Within a month of starting he participated in a Veterans Day Parade, Walk and Knock (food drive), and regular weekly Den meetings.  Talmage was so excited for the Veterans Day Parade it was so cute!  We are excited for him to be in scouts; to learn so many great things and to serve others!

Waiting for the Veterans Day Parade to start; it was cold but at least it was not raining.
We thought this was a small parade...little did we know their were over 100 entries and Talmage's troop was  88.

The girls got a lot of fun free stuff; they had fun.

The moment when all the waiting was worth it!
He was so DARN cute walking in the parade!
His excitement and patriotism were infectious.

Waving his flag and having a great time.
