Fathers Day

We had a fun day making our Daddy feel special on Fathers Day.  The kids helped me make an apron with all of their hand prints.  Their hand prints look so cute especially Josephs little one.  Audrey had the idea to have the apron in the apron drawer and when we asked our Daddy to make eggs he would find it.  Gordon was really surprised and loves his apron and we didn't really make him make eggs because it was his day off.  Then later that day we went to visit Great-Grandpa Thomas and shared dessert with him for Fathers Day; he really liked the trifle we made for dessert.  We had a great visit with Grandpa and Lorace; we love having them close.  Happy Fathers Day!

Daddy got a crown too for Fathers Day.

 Talmage and Great-Grandpa playing chess.
Talmage had wanted to play chess with him since Christmas and it finally happened.
Even at 93 Grandpa is still very competitive and wouldn't let Talmage win.
