Talmage Update

Talmage's has been up to a lot lately. He has started doing karate and loves it. He recently got his Gi and is so excited. We decided with his Sensei that he should earn his Gi by memorizing 2 of the four foundational disciplines; blocks and punches. While he was working towards his Gi he would practice all the time at home and it was really cute; he also would try to teach Audrey and Adalyn the karate moves he was learning. Talmage worked really hard and in seven weeks he earned his Gi; he was sooooo excited the night we picked it up and didn't wait to put it on. I love hearing all of the things he is doing in karate and watching him progress.

Since getting his Gi he has been working hard on being able to tie his own belt; it's kind of tricky. Another cute thing that he does now that he has started karate in that he likes to answer "yes" in Japanese "hai" whenever we ask him to do something. His teacher at school has mentioned that he says "hai" at school too. I think it is really cute and shows how excited he is about karate. He can also be caught meditating at the dinner table and at church; he's really into it.

Talmage also continues to build amazing things with his Legos and Hero Factory. He is also doing awesome in school. We love our Talmage!

Talmage made this Brontosaurus with his Hero Factory pieces; it was really cool.

Here his Hero Factory guys are fighting the Brontosaurus.

This is the Ranger station that Talmage and Audrey spent a Sunday building; it was fun to see them work together.

Talmage received a reward at school for being a Magnificent Mathematician; we are proud of our smart boy!
