Audrey is 6

Their is too much excitement for this little girl.  Not only did she just start kindergarten but now she is SIX.  We love our Audrey Elizabeth sooo much.  She bring so much joy to our home.  Audrey is great at cleaning her room and will often surprise me that she has cleaned it.  She helps with so many thing and is great at helping set the table and whatever else I need her to do before dinner.  She is very sweet and kind to other and loves to give hugs and kisses.  Audrey loves gymnastics!!!! She is constantly cartwheeling and doing handstands in our home; you have to watch out to not get kicked.  She recently moved up in her gymnastic class to pre-team and  is loving it.  We absolutely LOVE our Audrey and are so happy she is apart of our family.  Happy Birthday Audrey!

Start of School

It's hard to believe but it is time for school to start again.  Talmage is ready for 2nd grade and Audrey is beyond ready for Kindergarten.  Audrey has been counting down the days all summer to when she gets to start kindergarten; I hope she likes it as much as she thinks she will.  I'm having a hard time believing that I'm going to have two in school full time.  Audrey has been my little buddy the past two year while Talmage has been at school and I'm going to miss her so much.  I tell her all the time that I'm going to miss her and that I will cry when she goes to school.  Her response is, "Don't cry Mom."  I'm excited for my kids, they are going to do great this year!

Labor Day

Most of our Labor Day was canning pears but that night we decided to check out the river front on the Willamette River in Portland.  We had never been there and we had a really great time; it was beautiful.  The weather was perfect and the kids had fun playing in the different fountains along our walk.  In true Portland form we saw a lot of weirdo's.  My favorite was when Adalyn said, "Mom she has rainbow hair!"   Despite the weirdos we had a wonderful time and will have to go back again next summer; the kids loved the fountains.
